PayPal's fee for processing the tip is a percentage of the tip plus a fixed amount (estimated here as up to 3.9% + 30¢, since the actual fee is what PayPal charges and can vary with the funding source and country). It is deducted when the tip is added; the rest goes into the uploader's tip jar.
When a tip jar pays out, only_one.watch keeps a 6% operating fee and PayPal charges a sender fee (2%, $0.25 minimum) for the transfer. Both come out of the jar – you are never charged more than the tip you send.
PayPal may also apply currency-conversion or country fees of its own when the jar pays out. PayPal shows the final amount to the uploader, so that exact figure cannot be predicted here.
Refunds: if a tip jar never reaches the $3.00 minimum, or the uploader does not collect it within 60 days of their video's day ending, tips are refunded to their senders IN FULL.
